Problem: The owner was reluctant to excavate a large area (50m x 50m) using a traditional septic field. The newly built bed and breakfast offered a spectacular ocean view with beautiful trees in the foreground. The trees provide a windbreak and visual appeal. The owner did not want to lose all of these trees to build a large traditional leach field.

    

Solution: The PhytoKlare 1000 system uses an area of 7m x 10m for this application. It is fed by gravity and the small foot-print of the PhytoKlare system solved the tree-cutting problem.
