Installed for a single family on Old Broad Cove Road, Portugal Cove, Newfoundland
Problem: The previous traditional septic system on this site had failed. Sewage was ponding on the surface particularly in wet periods. Additionally, due to the high water table regulators required the owner to bring in tons of
soil and sand if he were to construct a new
traditional leach field.
Solution: The PhytoKlare 500 system solved the problem. Since the PhytoKlare 500 is completely lined with a pvc liner the high water table was not seen as a big concern. The septic system now uses a very small part of his property and discharges to a safe area into the ground. It saved money for the owner and preserved the original landscape.
